Professor Joseph Saulter is the visionary and founder of Entertainment Arts Research Inc. a leader in the Video Game Industry. He is the chairman of the International Game Developers Association’s Diversity Advisory Board and the author of a series of Game Design and Development textbooks published by McGraw-Hill. Joseph earned his Masters Degrees from State University of New York, Empire State College. He has put together a team of professionals in the video game industry. His relationship with industry leaders has grown over the years into and collective collaboration with Microsoft Bill Gates Group, Blacks in Gaming, Sony, Vivendi, Warner Bro, Blizzard and software developer Softimage.
Joseph is a well-known musician and composer with over 30 + years in the entertainment industry. He has been a writer, producer and composer for Omnimusic a leader in the music library industry. Mr. Saulter is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), American Federation of Musicians (AFM) Local 802, New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) and the Professional Composers of America. He has served as a Technology Professor and Musical Director for shows from Broadway to the outer most bush of Africa. His Broadway credits are Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph Saulter wrote the Drum book for Doug Hennings’ Broadway Hit; The Magic Show. Joseph has received numerous awards and certifications in the Music and Entertainment Industry one of which is the Drama Desk Award for his role in the Broadway Musical I love My Wife. For you Old School fans Joseph Saulter was the co-author of the legendary Twilight 22 Album with the smash hit Electric Kingdom. He has presented for Tavis Smiley and Microsoft collaboration, Blacks in Technology National Tour. Joseph is a professional jazz drummer he is currently working on a new musical.
Active in the field of education Joseph is the founder of the Urban Video Game Academy an educational initiative to give high-risk school students the opportunity to learn how to design and develop video games. Professor Saulter has been the chairman of the Game design and Development Department at American InterContinental University as well as fulltime professor at The Art Institute of Atlanta.
Joseph Saulter has partnered with the video game industry icon Jonathan Eubanks to move Entertainment Arts Research Inc. into a pivotal position. Entertainment Arts Research Inc. is the first African American controlled 3D Video Game Development Companies traded on the public market under the ticker of EARI. Entertainment Arts Research Inc. is currently working on several major new virtual world titles including The Universe of Faith a highly anticipated Christian Virtual World unlike anything currently available. Slick Shooter opens a virtual world for fashion designers and photographers around the world. Movie Mogul a virtual production stage for filmmakers and directors. Main Street Journal a virtual world for journalist in the political arena and a powerful voice for the people.
